Symphandra zangezura

A close relative of the familiar Bellflower or Campanula, this is a rock garden plant native to Eastern Europe. It forms a low mound or tuft of hairy leaves, with taller stems that bear dangling pale lavender-purple bell-shaped flowers for several weeks in summer.
