Teucrium hyrcanicum

Teucrium hyrcanicum (Caucasian Germander) is a species of flowering plant in the lamiaceae family. It is native to Iran and the Caucasus. It flower in late spring to early summer. It is a stiff upright perennial plant that grows to 18-24 in. (45-60 cm) tall and 9-12 in. (22-30 cm) wide. The leaves are green, aromatic, mint like foliage, dark green. The flowers are red to purple. Grown in average, moist, organically rich, well-drained soil in full sun to part shade.
